Layout
The depth of the lake reaches 5.5ft-6ft at the deepest points. Margins can vary from peg to peg but can be anywhere from 12"-30". Ledges and shelves around the margins can be anywhere from 2ft out onwards, some of the best shelves are at around 10m and can present bait very well on a pole line.
Baits
6/8mm Feed Pellet banded and loose fed would be the best all-rounder great for carp (pole, wag, feeder). Groundbait is great all year long for a mix of fish. Chopped worm & Caster is awesome for Bream, Crucian, and Ide. Maggot's a good all-rounder for bit bashing and the odd surprise.

Methods
In order of anglers appeal rather than best method would be;
Waggler towards the islands - perfect warm weather fishing combined with a good breeze.
Bomb or method feeder towards the island - safe bet all year round.
5-13 metre pole lines straight out in front off the shelf or shallow in open water.
Margins top 2+2 - can produce all year round but best in warmer weather.

Layout
The lake is around 5ft deep at the middle or deepest part with the margin ranging anywhere from 12"-24". The island that runs down the middle of Hoskers is anything from 10m-14m away from the pegs.
Methods
Most anglers will set up 2 or 3 lines.

Jake's offers 10 pegs and BA's 8 making it a nice quite spot to relax and catch. Being small and shallow they are ideal for the younger angler or even the less experienced.

In order of anglers appeal rather than best method would be;

Shallow to full depth rigs on a pole line anywhere from your feet to the far bank. .

Bomb or method feeder towards the far bank - safe bet all year round.
Baits
2, 4, 6 or 8mm Feed Pellet banded and loose fed - best all rounder great for carp (pole, wag, feeder)
Groundbait - great all year long for a mix of fish.
Chopped worm & Caster - awesome for Bream, Crucian and Ide
